Introduced in 1937, the patented Magic Lung® blower system sets Vent-A-Hood apart. Available in 300 – 1200 CFM (450-1800 CFM equivalent).
- Quietest – Ranging from 5.4 to 6.6 Sones (300-1200 cfm), check out the results generated by an independent industry testing lab comparing the Magic Lung to competing brands running at high speed.
- Most Efficient – Because it doesn’t pull air through a mesh/baffle filter, the sufficient air pressure and constant speed of the centrifugal filtration makes it the most efficient kitchen ventilation available.
- Easy-Cleaning – The patented E-Z Clean™ system collects grease in a tray that slides off and on the snap-apart housing that protects the motor from becoming grease-laden. Much easier than the mesh filters and hard-to-reach-behind baffle filters that leave the motor exposed and vulnerable to cooking contaminants.

Introduced in 2010, this industrial grade stainless steel baffle filtered hood packs a punch. It is not as quiet or efficient as the Magic Lung® or Power Lung, but this line provides a budget-friendly solution to venting over professional-style equipment within a small space.
- Blowers and Canopies sold as separate units.
- Available in 630 & 1035 CFM (single blower M600 and dual blower M1200).
- 300 or 400 CFM is achieved by adding an optional. restricting wiring harness (WHM300 or WHM400) to the M600 blower.
- Available in wall mount and liner insert applications.
- Hood/liner styles and dimensions are fixed, not customizable.
- Wall mount hoods are available in stainless steel only.
- Liner inserts are painted gunsmoke gray with a stainless steel bottom perimeter fascia. Once installed, all visible components are stainless steel.
- Canopy includes stainless steel baffle filters.
